It's important to observe the sensilli coeloconica distribution (SD) on both antennae. If sensilli is present or absent on an article of the both antennae, you can consider the SD with confidence. In case of a SD disagreement on an article, most of the time, it means presence with an abnormal sensilli absence on an article. Thus, in that case, you can select "presence" to the appropriate state of the descriptor. If you feel the SD variable according the observation of both antennae, it would be careful to not to use it. In that case, to reduce the error possibilities, you can use the others descriptors to reduce the taxa list and try the SD later.
This observation have to be done with a magnification of x40
